Committee Members

Ashlee has been involved in theatre since a young age, beginning in Rock Eisteddfod's, dance competitions and school musicals.

She joined Limelight Theatre on stage in 2012 cast as a lead in the murder mystery Miss Marple, whilst also performing in a range of musicals over the years including Hairspray, Greenwicks, Sweet Charity, Anything Goes, and The Wedding Singer. Most recently (2018) she was involved in Death of A Salesman, taking on the role of Stage Manager, whilst also serving on the theatre committee.

During the day Ashlee works as a Speech Pathologist in the northern suburbs, in Early Intervention. She has a passion for creating sensory friendly theatre experiences for individuals who would not regularly be able to participate in these events, and is in the process of liaising with Perth theatres in order to support more inclusive environments.

Kathleen has been involved in theatre for over ten years. She began by getting involved in youth theatre during her school years, performing with Stargate Actors Academy and HEY Fever. She also worked with Snapshot Youth Theatre Company, performing in their One-Act Festivals for many years, also performing in Singing in the Rain (2011), co-directing Stuart Little (2011), writing and directing Heartbeat and The Date From Hell (2012).

In 2012/2013 Kathleen travelled with Snapshot Youth Theatre to the UK for an International Drama Tour. Later in 2015/16 she once again travelled internationally with the company as a writer (of Land of Legends) and co-director/stage manager.

In 2013 Kathleen was cast in her first Limelight Theatre show, Hairspray and shared the role of Penny. Since then she has been in various musicals at Limelight including: Anything Goes, Sweet Charity, Greenwicks and The Wedding Singer. Kathleen was also involved in various productions while studying her BA, majoring in theatre. In 2018, as she was beginning her Honours in Creative Writing/Theatre, Kathleen directed Death of a Salesman at Limelight Theatre.
