Vincent, a professional suicide ‘enabler’, is contracted by Walter Bryce and arrives at his country house. Vincent assumes that his painless poison is intended for Walter – or maybe for Walter’s wife Celia – or both? But why is her suicide note left unsigned? Who called the Good Samaritan? What is Walter’s secretary’s role in this? After several failed attempts at poisoning various characters, will anyone actually shuffle off the mortal coil and can the rubber plant survive?
We are looking for someone to take on the task of Bookings Officer from March 2018.
Carol Binks has been a wonderful bookings lady for several years, but now needs to take a break. Carol has volunteered to help and steer a new recruit to the position, so you wouldn’t just be handed the keys and the computer and left to it!
It is a very important job for our theatre, the point of first contact for many of our patrons, and has quite an extensive time commitment, so if you are thinking of volunteering, please consider the duties – Apart from answering the phone to our patrons and making their bookings, you would need to learn the ins and outs of “Patronbase”, our booking and ticketing system which is accessed from the website. The box office needs to be staffed for every performance for about an hour each time. There are many other aspects to the job, and Carol has prepared a full list of the duties which can be sent to anyone who might be interested.
All out-of-pocket expenses incurred are refunded for such things as stationery, printing and postage plus an honorarium, acknowledging the time commitment of the job,can be paid.
