Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth.
Saturday July 1st from 10am.
Experienced musical theatre performers 25+ required.
You will have:
* 2 minutes to sing an excerpt of any song composed by Stephen Sondheim (not just his lyrics) which demonstrates your range, dynamics and control
and
* 2 minutes to read a selection from the script, which will be available to you prior to the audition.
Please note:
* You must bring your own backing track (capable of being linked to a Bluetooth speaker (no CD’s or USB’s please) or an accompanist (piano available).
* You will be auditioning in front of other auditionees.
*Callbacks – Sunday July 2nd *
Performers who are called back will learn a simple dance routine and read opposite other auditionees and Bobby. (This role has been cast). Please ensure you are available from 1pm until 5pm.

Sarah
Harry’s hyper critical wife. She is an avid learner of karate. Open, accepting, and full of love.

Sarah’s husband. He is a recovering alcoholic continually falling off the wagon. Believes the advantages of marriage outweigh the disadvantages.

A delicate southern belle. Peter’s wife and ex-wife. Motherly in her affections towards Robert.

A frantic neurotic engaged to Paul but terrified of marriage. After a mental breakdown, she finally realises that Paul is, in fact, her soulmate.

Amy’s fiancé. Mildly clingy, but patient to her neurotic nature. He is fully committed to the idea of marriage and encourages Robert to do the same.

Acerbic, demanding, and blunt. Too old to be part of the young crowd, but not old enough to be part of the older crowd. Puts on a brassy front that melts when she is alone with her husband.

Joanne’s husband. He is stoic and centered, but has moments of goofiness. Indulges his wife’s behavior but knows when to put his foot down.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Wanneroo Repertory Inc (adjourned on 14th June) will be continued on Tuesday 27th June 2023 at 7:30pm at the Limelight Theatre.
Agenda items 6.2 and 7.0 to be completed.

Nominations for positions on the management team must be received by the Nominations Sub-Committee no later than Wednesday 17th May 2023.
The Limelight Theatre needs new Committee Members to form part of the team and help progress its 2023 events program.
The Committee comprises ten (10) officers, and this year the following eight (8) positions will be open for nomination:
President (2 year term)
Hon Secretary (2 year term)
Six (6) Ordinary Committee Members (1 year term) as follows:

Publicity Coordinator
Volunteer Coordinator
Theatre Maintenance Manager

Wanneroo Repertory members who would like to be considered for nomination need to:
Eligible members wanting to nominate for 2023 positions should complete the Nomination Form and send it to the Secretary by no later than Wednesday 17th May 2023.
All nominations will be scrutinised by the Nominations Sub-Committee and nominees notified of their acceptance, or otherwise, as eligible candidates. Current Officers who are coming to the end of their term this year and are seeking another term must re-nominate.
Voting will be by current financial Repertory Members (see above) present at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Under our Rules of Association (previously called the Constitution) eligibilty of members to vote at the Annual General Meeting are described as follows:
“The member must have been an ordinary member at the time notice of the meeting was given (12th April 2023) and have paid any fee or other money payable to the Association.”
