Dear Members and friends of the Limelight Theatre

It is with great regret that the committee of Wanneroo Repertory Inc at the Limelight Theatre has decided that, in the best interests of health and safety within our organisation and the greater community, we are postponing our upcoming production of “Quartet”. This decision was not taken lightly and was made in consultation with the cast and crew.

We have also decided to postpone our Awards Night which was to have taken place on Saturday 21st March, and the Annual General Meeting scheduled for the 7th April.

We hope to be able to reschedule both these events, and our production calendar for 2020, so that we can continue to present the very best of community theatre to you, our members and friends, in the future.

We feel, in the light of the current status of the Corona virus that it is not fair for us to ask our volunteers and patrons to gather in a group of over 100 people in an enclosed space such as a theatre. The risk of exposure, whilst not necessarily significant, is there and is something we consider not to be worth the risk. Unfortunately, as the virus spreads, we will see more of our family and friends affected and thus our decision to minimise exposure through social distancing is very important to us.

The safety of our patrons, volunteers, production crew and the general public is paramount to us at this point in time.

We are contacting all ticket holders with regards to refunds by email where possible and by telephone for those without an email contact.
