50th Anniversary and Awards Night

Bookings for the 50th Anniversary and Awards Night open on February 19.

The tickets are being subsidised for members, so make sure your membership is up to date, to get the discounted price.
Tables at the Woodvale Tavern will be for 8 people.

If you have a group who wish to sit together, please make a single booking and payment for the group.
Other bookings will be seated randomly. Please also advise Helen of any dietary requirements when you book.
This will be a fabulous night and numbers are strictly limited, so make sure you don’t miss out!

AGM 2024

NOTICE OF AGM

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Wanneroo Repertory Inc. will be held on Wednesday 17th April 2024 at 7.30pm at the Limelight Theatre.

This will include amendments by Special Resolution on minimal changes to the Rules of Association.

Call for Nominations

Nominations for positions on the management team must be received by the Nominations Sub-Committee no later than Wednesday 20th March 2024.

The Limelight Theatre needs new Committee Members to form part of the team and help progress its 2024 events program.

The Committee comprises of four (4) office holders plus a minimum of seven (7) committee members, and this year the following positions will be open for nomination:

Vice President (2 year term)

Treasurer (2 year term)

Six (6) Ordinary Committee Members (1 year term) as follows:

Technical Manager

Publicity Coordinator

Volunteer Coordinator

Theatre Maintenance Manager

Social Media Coordinator

Committee Member

There are also six (6) non-committee positions (1 year term) as follows:

Lighting Team – Technician

Sound Team – Technician

Front of House Coordinator

Membership Officer

Wardrobe Manager

Properties Manager

Wanneroo Repertory members who would like to be considered for nomination need to:

  • be a current financial member at this AGM and to have been a member on 14th February 2024 (the date of the first notification of this AGM); and
  • be willing to devote time and effort as an Officer of the Repertory

Eligible members wanting to nominate for 2024 positions should complete the Nomination Form and send it to the Secretary by no later than Wednesday 20th March 2024.

All nominations will be scrutinised by the Nominations Sub-Committee and nominees notified of their acceptance, or otherwise, as eligible candidates. Current Officers who are coming to the end of their term this year and are seeking another term must re-nominate.

Voting will be by current financial Repertory Members (see above) present at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Member Voting Eligibility

Under our Rules of Association (previously called the Constitution) eligibility of members to vote at the Annual General Meeting is described as follows:

“The member must have been an ordinary member at the time notice of the meeting was given (14th February 2024) and have paid any fee or other money payable to the Association”.

Please also note, for current members: Ensure that your financial membership is up to date or renewed prior to the AGM to avoid any challenges to your eligibility on the night.
